CJC-1295 with DAC carries a drug affinity complex, a maleimidopropionyl group on the C-terminal lysine that binds covalently to serum albumin after injection. That is the molecule from the clinical literature: CAS 863288-34-0, formula C165H269N47O46, molecular weight roughly 3,647 g/mol, with an estimated half-life of six to eight days in humans.
CJC-1295 without DAC is the same 29-amino-acid GHRH fragment without that group. It is properly called Modified GRF (1-29): CAS 446036-97-1, formula C152H252N44O42, molecular weight 3,367.9 g/mol. It clears in minutes.

Its portal reports eight independent tests on file for CJC-1295, averaging 99.59% and spanning 99.20% to 99.99%. The current 10mg certificate covers batch B2826029, analyzed July 22, 2026 at 99.38%. The most recent 5mg document, accession 2608200484 for batch A2926028, was received August 20 and reported August 25, 2026 at 99.33%, with identity confirmed by LC-MS and a principal chemist's signature.

Vanguard Laboratory of Olympia, Washington, laboratory ID V260706-2 024, lot C74120, reported July 22, 2026: identity passed against a reference standard and chromatographic purity came back at 99.43% plus or minus 0.18%, both by HPLC-UV/VIS. The document carries an ISO 17025:2017 mark, cites A2LA Certificate #6377.01.01, is signed by a named laboratory director, and includes the chromatogram. Of the five laboratories behind these certificates it is the only one that both holds that accreditation and prints the accrediting body's number on the document; Accumark's own site lists its ISO 17025 status as pending, and the others print no accreditation at all.
Reporting a confidence interval alongside a purity figure is a practice no other vendor here follows. What holds Core back is breadth: one lot published, and no CAS number on the listing.
5. Ameano Peptides
Ameano has the lowest sticker price in the comparison at $38.00 for a 5mg no-DAC vial and the most externally checkable documents. Its COA links point to Janoshik Analytical's own verification pages, so a report can be checked against the laboratory's records rather than the vendor's server. Task #168784, batch CJC0505232026-05 under manufacturer code AMP, was ordered May 28 and analyzed June 8, 2026, returning three separate results of 99.095%, 99.584% and 99.595%, an average of 99.42%. Two older lots stay published alongside it, from February 2026 and November 2025.
Running three samples and leaving the older lots visible is good practice, and the lab-hosted copies match the vendor's own field for field. Pricing is public behind a 21-and-over age check. The company lists a Little Rock, Arkansas address and offers the no-DAC form at 5mg only.

Biotech publishes a full MZ Biolabs certificate. The document covers lot 3141040 of its Mod GRF 1-29 5mg, analyzed July 15 and signed July 24, 2026, reporting 99.85% purity by HPLC-UV-MS across two detected peaks and citing PubChem CID 91976842. It is credited to Ken Pendarvis, ChE, the same analytical chemist who signs Sports Technology Labs' certificate. At 99.85% it is the second-highest measured figure in this comparison.
What holds it back is depth: only one lot is published, and the listing carries no CAS number. The compound naming, "Mod GRF 1-29 (CJC-1295 NO DAC)," is the most accurate here. The 5mg vial is $46.00, dropping to $41.40 at ten units.
7. Sports Technology Labs
Sports Technology Labs publishes the most personally attributable certificate in the comparison and the most internally inconsistent product page. The MZ Biolabs document, from the laboratory's Tucson, Arizona facility, covers lot 2025-06-16, was analyzed July 3 and signed July 8, 2025, and reports 98.96% purity by HPLC-UV-MS across six detected peaks. It is signed by Ken Pendarvis, ChE, named as the chemist who ran it, which is rare here.
The certificate is roughly 14 months old, by a wide margin the oldest active document on this page, and the lot number is itself a date, which weakens traceability. The 98.96% is the only sub-99% result in the comparison. The product page is also unresolved on which molecule it sells: it is titled CJC-1295 DAC with the DAC CAS and a six-to-eight-day half-life, but lists the formula as C152H252N44O42 and the molar mass as 3367.9 g/mol, both no-DAC values. The certificate is not confused: it cites PubChem CID 91971820, which resolves to the DAC formula and mass. The 5mg vial is $86.99, and the company lists a Shelton, Connecticut address.
8. Eternal Peptides
Eternal lists CJC-1295 with DAC at 5mg for $59.99, described as verified to a minimum purity of 99.6% through lot-specific Janoshik certificates. If that holds per lot it is the strongest purity claim on any DAC vial here.
No certificate is linked or embedded on the product page, no batch number or analysis date appears, and the site's own Lab Tests library carries no entry for the with-DAC product across any of its 45 cards. The 99.6% is a specification the vendor states about itself. It ranks last among vendors with visible pricing for that reason: every other listing here resolves to a document naming a laboratory and a lot. Eternal also names Janoshik in its product copy while the certificates it actually publishes for ipamorelin are issued by Kovera Labs, which reads as a lab change the product pages were never updated for. The site is operated by Cenvira LLC of Little Neck, New York.

Match the lot number to the vial. A certificate covering "CJC-1295" in general is a product-level document, not a batch certificate. The lot printed on your label should appear on the document. CJC-1295 Legal Status
CJC-1295 is legal to buy in the United States as a research chemical and is not a scheduled or controlled substance. It is not FDA-approved as a drug, supplement or cosmetic ingredient, and every vendor here labels it for laboratory research use only. That labeling is the legal basis the category operates on.
Its position is more precarious than most pages suggest. CJC-1295 spent years in Category 2 of the FDA's interim 503A bulk drug substances list, the tier for substances raising significant safety concerns for compounding. On April 15, 2026, after litigation over the peptide category assignments, the agency reorganised those lists and CJC-1295 came off Category 2 without being placed on Category 1, the tier a compounding pharmacy can work from. An unlisted compound leaves no pharmacy a clear basis to prepare it.
What the CJC-1295 Research Shows
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analogue developed by ConjuChem Biotechnologies, built by making four amino acid substitutions to the GHRH 1-29 fragment to resist enzymatic degradation, then attaching the DAC group so the molecule binds albumin.
The human pharmacology rests on two 2006 papers. Teichman and colleagues ran two randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind ascending-dose trials in healthy adults aged 21 to 61 over 28 and 49 days.
A single subcutaneous dose of CJC-1295 with DAC at 1 to 30 mcg/kg produced dose-dependent mean growth hormone elevations of 2 to 10-fold and sustained IGF-1 elevations of 1.5 to 3-fold above baseline, lasting 9 to 11 days. Teichman et al., Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2006.
That paper is the source of nearly every half-life claim made about this compound, and it tested the DAC version exclusively; the no-DAC form filling most vials on sale was never the subject. Ionescu and Frohman showed in the same journal that pulsatile growth hormone secretion persists under continuous CJC-1295 stimulation, with pulse amplitude and trough levels both rising, which separates it mechanistically from administering growth hormone directly.
Development then stopped. In July 2006 ConjuChem halted a Phase 2 trial in 192 participants with HIV-related visceral obesity after a study participant died, ending the study on July 17. The attending physician judged the likeliest explanation to be asymptomatic coronary artery disease unrelated to the drug, and the trial was terminated as a precaution regardless. No sponsor has resumed development in the 20 years since, which is why there is no approved product, no compounded version, and no dosing guidance carrying regulatory weight.
